LESSONS
When first getting into terrain parks/freestyle terrain it is important to start small and work your way up; a lesson is recommended. This section lets you know what resorts offer freestyle terrain/terrain park specific lessons. The Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA)and American Association of Snowboard Instructors (AASI) also offer advice and are a great resource for beginners. There are specific Learn to Ride Programs such as Burton's that help you get stated.

The LTR program was developed by Burton and snowboard instructors worldwide to make learning to ride easy and fun. We developed boards, boots and bindings specifically for learning. We've spent a lot of time working with instructors and resorts to create an ideal environment for learning to ride. The result is the Learn to Ride Center.
